White City Water Improvement District, Sandy, Utah
Making Every Day (and Meter) Count – Better Water Conservation and Customer Service through the E-Coder®)R900i™ and Data Logging
For three months each year – December, January, and February – the White City Water Improvement District could not make the rounds to read the meters, leading to customers receiving an entire season’s readings to make up for the lapsed time. Compounding this problem were corroding, leaking, and poorly pressurized service lines and decades-old meters, resulting in high water bills. Now, with Neptune’s R900® System, weather isn’t a factor in reading meters, so what used to take 10 to 14 days takes less than two hours, and data logging has helped customers identify potentially costly leaks.
