The TRICON® system is a valuable tool for the remote directional flow monitoring and control of flow rate and total consumption. The TRICON can be used in a wide range of applications including batching or continuous processes, reverse osmosis, irrigation, and reverse flow alarming. High volume water requires instantaneous flow rate and/or total information from the water meter on a 24/7 basis. TRICON registers provide these users with a pulse interface, 4-20mA output, or contact closure for remote flow monitoring capability.
The FLOSEARCH® II System is a PC-based system designed for customer usage profiling and demand pattern analysis with remote flow monitoring. It provides a means for utilities to analyze usage patterns, resolve billing complaints, identify leak situations, and properly size meters for the application.
TRICON/E®3 transmitters provide an interface between the water meter and an electronic controller for batching processes, monitoring flow totalization, and/or flow rate data.
The TRICON®/S can be used in applications where a switch closure that is proportional to the flow rate is required.
The TRICON®SmartTrol™ is a remote instrument designed for flow rate monitoring, totalizing, and batching. It has an 8-digit, 0.55-in bright alphanumeric display. The two inputs (A and B) will accept up to 10,000 pulses per second (pps) of digital count. The two inputs are combined into a single count that can be used to provide a two-stage relay output for valve control.
