Fire Service Water Meters
The High Performance (HP) PROTECTUS® III S fire service meter is now NSF/ANSI 61, Annex G and Annex F certified. This is the first such approval for fire service compound meters in the industry. All HP Fire Service Meters meet or exceed AWWA C703 and are Underwriters Laboratory (UL) Listed and Factory Manual (FM) Approved for fire service use.
The HP PROTECTUS III S fire service meter is designed for applications where fire service and domestic water supplies are fed by a single line. The HP PROTECTUS III S measures extremely wide flow ranges at 98.5%-101.5% accuracy, registering leaks or unauthorized use of water from fire service lines.
The High Performance (HP) Fire Service Turbine S (Stainless Steel) meter offers some of the widest flow ranges of any fire service turbine meters on the market. All HP Fire Service Turbines meet or exceed the latest AWWA Standard C703. Maximum continuous flow rates may be exceeded by as much as 25% for intermittent periods.
The HP Fire Service Turbine S meter is designed to measure both domestic and fire service usage where flow rates are moderate to high. All HP Fire Service Turbine meters are NSF/ANSI 61, Annex G and F certified, Underwriters Laboratory (UL) listed, and Factory Mutual (FM) approved for fire service use and include an attached fire service strainer.
The Fire Hydrant water meter is designed for mobile use in metering flows from fire hydrants. The meter measures a wide flow range to maximize revenue. It meets or exceeds the latest performance requirements of AWWA. Maximum flow rates may be exceeded by 25% for intermittent flows.
