R450™ DATA COLLECTOR (DC)

An integral part of the ARB® FixedBase™ AMI System is the R450™ Data Collector (R450 DC). This meter data collector features two-way communication which allows for over-the-air programming, 24-hour usage/consumption profiling, and priority alarms for leak detection, reverse flow, and other value-added features. As a tower-based system, the cell size is optimized, which allows for a small number of meter data collectors to adequately cover your system. In addition, your investment is protected with a NEMA 4X weatherproof enclosure and back-up of your valuable data.

Neptune’s R450 Data Collector provides the infrastructure for the ARB FixedBase AMI System. The R450 DC provides two-way communication to R450 MIUs collecting meter data, communicating commands and ensuring system-wide time-synchronization. The tower-based meter data collector provides maximum reading success rates with a limited number of collectors, resulting in a low cost of ownership. R450 DCs are configured to transfer meter data at preprogrammed intervals to ARB® N_SIGHT™ AMI host software.
